let’s get personal (a.k.a. let me just have one more fix)

{listening to TOOL in the background}

i hope this makes sense.

i was talking to an inteliigent friend of mine the other night/ morning and the topic of conversation was essentially about how we would feel when we found ourselves at our deathbed.

both of us basically expressed the same sentiment, neither of us wanted to be those people we read about who say, “what did i do with my life?”

the funny thing is, is that we were doing something that most people would consider a waste of time. But, here we were celebrating the moment.

please do not send me comments or emails about how we can all rationalize every kind of behavior. NO SHIT. everything is escapism.

this moment stands out now simply because it an example of how i want and strive to live a consistent life. this moment is only as it is. it can be nothing different.

the only difference between those that say, ‘what did i do with my life’ and those that celebrate is a matter of perspective. how strange.

this makes no sense. But, I am gonna post it anyway.

    I think those that wake up in that crisis are those that are always questioning what others are doing and never questioning their own lives, so that they can be true to themselves. The sooner a person asks what am I doing with my life, the better.
